As an architect and designer and more importantly a collector of fine furniture myself, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many craftsmen over the years to bring back fine pieces of furniture to their former glory. My home and my clients’ homes are filled with pieces that could never be reproduced today, but look as good as they did when they were first built.
I happily stumbled across Matthew on Facebook Marketplace when I purchased a console table that expanded to a full dining table. At the time I had no idea that he had done the restoration but when he delivered it, it was clear that this was done by a true craftsman who knew his materials, his tools and his trade.
